Meeting of Clophill Parish Council on Tuesday 28th September 2021

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Clophill Parish Council on Tuesday 28 September 2021 commencing at 7.45pm at Clophill Village Hall for the purpose of transacting the following business.

AGENDA

Members of the Public:  Members of the public wishing to address the Council during the meeting must make the Chairman aware of their intention before the meeting starts. Members of the public wishing to record the meeting are asked to notify the Chairman of their intentions so that appropriate arrangements can be made for the recording, in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders and Recording of Meetings Policy.

Description of development: For the retention of existing dwelling and garage as a detached garage/garden storage facility and an ancillary residential annexe.

CPC resolved to object to this application on the grounds this would have been intensification of development in open Countryside.

Permission refused, the applicant appealed, and the appeal was dismissed 07/09/21

CB/20/03077/FULLLand South of Top Farm, Shefford Road, Clophill

Proposal: Change of use of land to mixed use. Permission was sought for consent for one residential static

caravan and one touring caravan, parking for two vehicles, water treatment plant and associated additional

hardstanding and infrastructure. (with alterations to the consented stable & barn)

Permission was refused Jan 2021 and Planning contravention notices and questionnaires were served to establish

the personal circumstances of the occupants.

Clophill Village Hall – proposed extension The Village Hall Committee is exploring an extension to the Village Hall.  A planning application is not required. Instead, the Localism Act 2011 introduced the Community Right To Build under which the VH can be extended using a Right to Build Order.
