Clophill Parish Council is looking for a willing volunteer.
Somebody with a sense of community that wants to be involved and shape what happens.
The Parish Council is seeking to co-opt a new councillor to fill a vacancy which has recently occurred.
The Council meets approximately 10 times a year, usually on the last Tuesday of the month.
The meetings from March to October are held in the Village hall and November to Feb in the Methodist Church.
If you have lived in the Parish, or within 3 miles of it, for at least a year and are over 18, you are probably eligible (please check with the clerk for further eligibility criteria).
Training will be given by the Bedford Association of Town and Parish Councils (funded by the Parish Council).
The Parish Council is an independent local authority with powers, duties and responsibilities.
