We have been asked to alert you to a concern raised over the grounds at Wrest Park.
The park at the front of Wrest Park is being seriously damaged by people parking on the grass and churning up the lawn. The beautiful trees that line the avenue are also at risk as the heavy vehicles are damaging their roots.
Wrest Park is in the care of English Heritage and the charity is asking drivers visiting the local countryside to park in the hard standing car park or those areas designated by English Heritage staff. The car park is located just past the mansion and has plenty of available spaces in the early evenings and weekends.
